Joshua is also weirded out by Diana’s choice of clothes, which are a bit revealing. He asks if she’s dressed like this because Diana’s getting ready to finally start dating again, arguing that she needs to move on since that’s what his father would have wanted.
Diana insists that she doesn’t want to date and that raising Joshua was the most important thing in her life. She expresses how she’ll miss him when he goes to college, and that she has an idea on how to make the transition easier. Diana leads Joshua back to his bedroom where they can talk.
